Janet Antone is a proud member of the Oneida Nation of the Thames, located just outside of London, ON. She is the Membership Coordinator at IPAA, and is happy to have to opportunity to work with the company.
After high school Janet was quickly drawn to the arts and received a diploma from Fanshawe College for the Music Industry Arts program, from there she moved to Toronto and attended Trebas Institute and received a diploma for the Artists Management course. While at Trebas Janet was volunteering and then began working at Native Earth Performing arts (NEPA) as an arts administrator. After three years at NEPA Janet relocated back to Oneida, and began working within her community, at the Oneida Language & cultural centre (OLCC) there she gets to apply both her administration skills and media skills, while providing resources for her people to keep and learn their language. Janet is also an entrepreneur and has her own Virtual Assistant business, with this business she gets to work with a lot of companies, doing various tasks.
