Jeff D’Hondt is a writer/producer, and a member of the Mohawk/Delaware (properly called the Lenni Lenape) Nationsat the Six Nations of the Grand River.
His debut stageplay, A Spirit’s Face, premiered at the 2013 VancouverFringe Festival and was remounted in 2014. Upcomingprojects serving as an Associate Producer of lemonTreeCreations’ MSM (Men Seeking Men) as part of Toronto’s WorldPride celebrations.
He is also the author of Spiderbones,a 2008 novel that deals with racism and mental health. Inaddition to his writing, Jeff has 21 years of experienceworking in mental health and substance abuse treatmentservices, which he gained through positions in thecorrectional system, the Ministry of Health and Long-TermCare, and Aboriginal communities, and at hospitals andhomeless shelters.
