Lindsay Lachance is an Anishinaabe P.H.D. student at the University of British Columbia and has a Masters in Theatre Theory and Dramaturgy from the University of Ottawa. Lindsay has presented her research at five international conferences including NAISA (2014 and 2015); In the Balance: Indigeneity, Performance, Globalization; HISTORY, MEMORY, PERFORMANCE; and Arts performatifs et spectaculaires des Premières Nations de l’est du Canada organized by the Laboratoire d’Ethnoscénologie of the Département du Théâtre of l’Université Paris 8. Her areas of interest include performance aesthetics, the physicalization of spirituality in time and space, and the multiple creation processes of Indigenous dramaturgies.
